Founding Partners

Assiteca Group was founded in 1982 by Luciano Lucca, Mario Monetti and Edmondo Tettamanzi. The three founding partners still work in the Company, setting the guide lines for the Group.

Their goal of quality of the service provided, transparency, professional ethics and innovation are felt throughout the firm. They are convinced that full Client satisfaction creates a solid and lasting alliance with the latter and ensures mutual profit.

Brief profiles of management

Luciano Lucca
Born in Milan in 1947, he started work in the insurance field as agent and later, commercial assistant to the proprietor of Toro Assicurazioni in Milan.
In 1972 he founded Verconsult, a broking firm specialising in certain areas of insurance and became Director in the later merger of the Company with GPA as well as Managing Director of SAMA, part of the Group.
In 1982 with a group of colleagues, he founded Assiteca and became first Director and later Chairman and Managing Director.
He is a member of all boards of directors of the other Companies of the Group, and covers a number of positions within them.

Mario Ambrogio Monetti
Born in Milan in 1948, he was in Toro Assicurazioni until 1977. Later he joined the technical office of the GPA Group as expert for the UK and South American Markets.
In 1982 he took part in the founding of Assiteca, as Head of the International Division, devoted to seeking and developing new channels of insurance and reinsurance.
He is Chairman and Managing Director of Alf Broker Services and A&B Insurance and Reinsurance, Director of Assiteca and other Group Companies.

Edmondo Tettamanzi
Born in Milan in 1947, he began work, as did the other partners, in Toro Assicurazioni in Milan as Head of Technical Survey Dept.
In GPA he held the position of Director, Head of domestic technical services.
He is Chairman of Assiteca Piacenza, Sole Director of Teca, sits of the board of Assiteca and the other Group Companies.
He takes part in many seminars and meetings as speaker.
